How SitSorted works

From everything in your head to one calm handover.

Already have someone you trust? Start without an account. SitSorted organises the handover for your chosen sitter; it does not find or book one. Live sharing is an explicit next step for invited owners.

Create the right kind of brief

  1. Choose the general pet, dog, cat or house tool. Each asks questions specific to that handover.
  2. Fill in what matters and follow the missing-detail prompts. The live preview updates as you type.
  3. Copy the finished instructions or use your browser’s print dialog to save a clean PDF.

Your draft stays local

Generator field values are stored only in this browser for up to 30 days after your last activity. They are not sent to SitSorted while you create, reload, copy or print.

Choosing “Turn into a live brief” records only a local intent. After invited-owner sign-in, you see a separate review and nothing is imported until you confirm.

Prepare a live handover

  1. Save reusable pets, contacts and care information in your private owner library.
  2. Create a trip, choose the dates and timezone, then add only explicitly timed routines as tasks.
  3. Review a frozen sitter preview and create an expiring link. Replacing or revoking it invalidates earlier access.

Help the sitter feel ready

The sitter opens the link with no account or installation. The Ready Check covers access arrangements, feeding, any medication, emergency help, dates and key times. They can acknowledge each item or leave a required question—questions do not pretend the information was understood.

During care, tasks are grouped into Overdue, Now, Next and Later. Emergency help remains available before the Ready Check is complete.
